Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress, is known for her work in film and television since the late 1980s. She has received various accolades like the Golden Globe Award, and 16 NAACP Image Awards. In the last decade, Angela Evelyn has worked in film and TV. She's received numerous awards including sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt, who was born to New York New York, is well-known as an actor. Bassett, her sister, and their mother were moved from the city of Winston-Salem to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. Their father divorced their mother. Bassett was inspired to become an actress after she saw the production Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies, 1980. Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main characters in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
